Overview: The film depicts the struggles of a poor family. A father who repairs shoes works alongside his two sons. The father wants his eldest son, Mehmet, to find another job. Mehmet decides to work as a cotton picker with his wife and children. Ali, the younger son who cannot get along with his father, also begins working with them.
