Overview: Doctor Lydia shares a scalpel and a bed with the head of a clinic in Bochum. Until one night the brash steelworker and karate fighter Uwe turns up in the emergency room. She stitches up his wound without anesthetic. A real guy, Uwe, and not such an academic wimp like her fine surgeon. That makes an impression on Lydia, who otherwise only moves in better circles.
